Celebrating Holi with Joy and Unity
On Wednesday, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath expressed his delight over the festive atmosphere of Holi, stating that even amidst global chaos, this festival brings joy and enthusiasm.
While addressing the Narasimha Shobha Yatra, the Chief Minister praised India's "strong leadership" and remarked, "We are celebrating Holi in India at a time when the world is facing turmoil, unrest, and chaos. However, under the great leadership of our Prime Minister Modi, we are celebrating this festival with joy and enthusiasm." He emphasized that there is no fear, chaos, or distrust here.
He further stated that the nation is inspired by the spirit of 'Satyamev Jayate' and added that if corruption is thriving anywhere, it must be eradicated. He also mentioned that if chaos, terrorism, or extremism attempts to raise its ugly head, it should be destroyed as well. The festival of Holi is deeply rooted in Hindu mythology, symbolizing the victory of good over evil. The celebration begins with Holika Dahan, followed by the widely celebrated festival of Holi, where people engage in playful colors, reveling in joy and unity.
The Chief Minister referred to the RSS as "the world's largest cultural organization" and announced that processions would be held to commemorate its centenary. He noted that the RSS, with millions of propagators and volunteers, has dedicated their lives to preserving the honor, pride, and glory of Hindus, the traditions of India's Sanatan Dharma, and the unity and integrity of the nation.
In mentioning the centenary of the RSS, the Chief Minister announced his participation in the Narasimha Shobha Yatra. He also stated that Hindu conferences are ongoing to strengthen social harmony, with participation from all sections of society, yet without any disorder.
