Celebrating the Armed Border Force

The Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, Yogi Adityanath, extended his congratulations to the brave soldiers and their families on the occasion of the Armed Border Force (SSB) Foundation Day. He took to the social media platform 'X' to express, "Heartfelt congratulations and best wishes to all the brave soldiers and their families on the Foundation Day of the Armed Border Force, a living symbol of service, security, and dedication."


Adityanath emphasized, "Your loyalty in safeguarding the unity, integrity, and sovereignty of the nation is commendable. Jai Hind!"


Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya also shared his wishes on 'X', stating, "Service-Security-Brotherhood! Heartfelt greetings to all brave soldiers and citizens on the Foundation Day of the Armed Border Force (SSB)!"


He praised the indomitable courage, discipline, and dedication of SSB personnel, highlighting their role in border security, internal safety, and disaster management.


Maurya added, "I respectfully salute all the brave individuals stationed to protect the nation's borders, always ready to serve Mother India! Jai Hind!"


Deputy Chief Minister Brajesh Pathak also conveyed his wishes, stating, "Heartfelt congratulations to the brave soldiers of Mother India on the Foundation Day of the Armed Border Force, who ensure the security of our nation's borders."


It is noteworthy that the SSB, comprising around 80,000 personnel, has been safeguarding the 1,751-kilometer-long India-Nepal border since 2001 and the 699-kilometer-long India-Bhutan border since 2004. The force was established on December 20, 1963.
