Celebrating the Legacy of Guru Gobind Singh

On the occasion of Guru Gobind Singh's birth anniversary, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath paid tribute to the revered figure, emphasizing that his fight against injustice and immorality inspires unwavering courage. In a post on social media, Adityanath stated, "On the auspicious occasion of the birth anniversary of the great saint and warrior, the founder of the Khalsa Panth, Guru Gobind Singh Ji Maharaj, I offer my heartfelt salutations."


He further remarked, "Your struggle against injustice and your message of protecting dharma inspire humanity to remain steadfast on the path of truth, integrity, and fearlessness."


Messages of Respect from Political Leaders

Pankaj Chaudhary, the president of the state unit of the Bharatiya Janata Party, also took to social media to extend his greetings, saying, "Wishing everyone a joyous celebration of the birth anniversary of Guru Gobind Singh Ji, the tenth Guru of the Sikhs and the founder of the Khalsa Panth."


Chaudhary added, "The path he illuminated through his teachings on religion, humanity, equality, and brotherhood continues to serve as a guiding light for society today."


Every year, the birth anniversary of Guru Gobind Singh is celebrated on the seventh day of the Shukla Paksha in the month of Paush, with continuous readings of the Guru Granth Sahib held at gurdwaras.
