Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has called for the establishment of integrated government complexes in Mathura and Kanpur. This initiative aims to streamline administrative processes and improve public services. During a review of the 'Vision 2030' plans, he highlighted the need for adequate facilities to support the influx of millions of pilgrims and the importance of long-term urban planning. With 195 projects proposed for Mathura-Vrindavan, the Chief Minister believes this development will contribute significantly to the vision of a developed India by 2047.

Integrated Government Offices for Enhanced Efficiency

The Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, Yogi Adityanath, emphasized the necessity of establishing all government offices at the district and divisional levels within a single complex in Mathura and Kanpur. He directed the construction of integrated complexes in both cities.


During a review meeting on Thursday regarding the 'Vision 2030' plans for Mathura-Vrindavan and Kanpur, the Chief Minister highlighted the importance of these complexes. According to a statement released by the state government, he mentioned that these integrated government office complexes should include suitable chambers for lawyers, adequate parking, food courts, and other civic amenities.


The Chief Minister noted that such complexes would not only streamline administrative tasks but also alleviate the public's need to navigate multiple offices. Regarding Mathura-Vrindavan, he pointed out that the region has suffered from unplanned development and the degradation of its heritage over the past 50 years. The influx of millions of pilgrims each year places immense pressure on transportation and public facilities, necessitating long-term urban planning.


He further stated that while maintaining the cultural and religious significance of the area, integrated infrastructure development should also create new employment opportunities.


Officials reported that a total of 195 projects have been proposed for Mathura-Vrindavan, with an estimated cost of ₹30,080 crores. Work has already commenced on 23 of these projects, while the remaining 172 are in various stages of processing. The Chief Minister added that the comprehensive development of Mathura and Kanpur would serve as a robust means to realize the vision of a developed India by 2047.
