During a press briefing on Tuesday, spokesperson Tammy Bruce highlighted that collaboration with both countries is beneficial for the region and the world, fostering a promising future.

This indicates a clear commitment from diplomats towards both nations.' In response to a question regarding the potential increase in US aid to Pakistan following a meeting between Pakistani Army Chief General Asim Munir and Trump, she made these comments.

She was also asked whether this was at the expense of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's relationship with Trump. Bruce referenced the military conflict between India and Pakistan in May, stating, 'We have a clear experience of that conflict, which could have been quite catastrophic.'

She noted that President Trump, Vice President JD Vance, and Secretary of State Marco Rubio expressed 'immediate concern and took prompt action' regarding the situation, detailing phone calls made and actions taken to prevent attacks and bring the parties together for a sustainable resolution.

Bruce also claimed that top US leaders were involved in efforts to avert 'potential devastation.' India asserts that Pakistan's military actions were halted without US mediation and after direct talks between the two neighboring countries' forces.

Bruce mentioned that recent peace agreements, such as the one between Armenia and Azerbaijan, were achieved through dialogue, similar to discussions between Cambodia and Thailand, Israel and Iran, Rwanda and the Democratic Republic of Congo, India and Pakistan, Egypt and Ethiopia, and Serbia and Kosovo. Meanwhile, Rubio stated in an interview on Tuesday that Trump deserves credit for helping to end numerous conflicts worldwide.
