Marco Rubio's Visit to the Taj Mahal
On Monday, U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio arrived in Agra with his wife to admire the iconic Taj Mahal, as confirmed by official sources. They landed at Kheria Airport around 10 AM via a special flight.
Following their arrival, Rubio and his wife traveled by car to a hotel located at the eastern gate of the Taj Mahal. From there, they took a golf cart to reach the monument.
Amidst tight security, the couple spent approximately an hour exploring the Taj Mahal and capturing photographs. For security reasons, the premises were cleared of visitors, with existing tourists being escorted out by security personnel.
After their tour, Secretary Rubio expressed his gratitude in the visitor's book, stating, 'Thank you for allowing me to see one of the treasures of love in the world.'
