US Conducts Precision Strikes on Iranian Military Targets in Kharg Island
US Military Operations Against Iran Intensify
The United States Central Command (CENTCOM) has unveiled video evidence of targeted strikes on Iranian military installations as part of ongoing operations against Iran. CENTCOM stated, “US forces are actively working to diminish Iranian military capabilities.” In a recent statement, former President Donald Trump claimed that American forces executed what he termed “one of the most powerful bombing raids” on Kharg Island, a crucial energy hub for Iran located in the Persian Gulf. Trump mentioned on Truth Social that the operation was conducted under his directive and resulted in the complete destruction of military targets on the island.

Trump stated, “Just moments ago, at my command, the United States Central Command executed one of the most significant bombing raids in Middle Eastern history, completely obliterating every military target in Iran’s crown jewel, Kharg Island.”
Significant Military Targets Affected
Over 90 Military Targets Hit
On Saturday, the U.S. military shared more footage depicting real-time precision strikes on Kharg Island, which is Iran’s primary oil export terminal and plays a vital role in the nation’s crude oil shipments. CENTCOM reported that American forces targeted over 90 military sites on the island while ensuring that critical oil infrastructure remained undamaged. The strikes reportedly destroyed facilities for naval mines, missile storage bunkers, and various other military locations.
Officials indicated that the airstrikes focused on military installations on Kharg Island, including missile storage and defense facilities, while largely preserving the island’s oil export infrastructure.
Potential for Further Military Action
Trump Warns of More Strikes
Trump has also cautioned that additional strikes may be forthcoming. In an interview with NBC News, he noted that previous U.S. strikes had “totally demolished” a significant portion of the island’s oil infrastructure and hinted at the possibility of further military action. “We may hit it a few more times,” Trump remarked, indicating that further operations against Kharg Island could occur as tensions rise.
