On Thursday, US Ambassador Sergio Gore held discussions with India's Home Minister Amit Shah. The meeting centered around enhancing cooperation to combat terrorism and ensure that criminals are brought to justice in both nations. In a post on social media, Gore emphasized that their conversation primarily aimed at protecting citizens from narcotics and illegal drugs while securing borders. He expressed satisfaction with the productive dialogue, stating, 'We had a very fruitful meeting with Honorable Home Minister Amit Shah. We engaged in meaningful discussions on tackling terrorism, safeguarding our people from drugs, securing our borders, and increasing collaboration to punish criminals in both countries.'
