Dharamshala - The District & Sessions Judge and Chairman of the District Legal Services Authority, Mr. Chirag Bhanu Singh, has revealed plans for a National Lok Adalat to take place on May 9, 2026, across all District Courts and subordinate courts in Himachal Pradesh. This initiative is being organized under the guidance of the National Legal Services Authority in New Delhi and the Himachal Pradesh State Legal Services Authority in Shimla.
The Lok Adalat will address various cases, including those related to banking, labor disputes, utility bills, matrimonial issues, cheque bouncing, pre-litigation disputes, and other unresolved matters. Individuals interested in settling disputes before initiating legal proceedings can file an application at the relevant court.
