Medical Counseling Dates for 2026-27 Batch

New Delhi, August 1 - The first round of counseling for MBBS and other undergraduate medical courses under the All India Quota (AIQ) is set to commence on August 4, with the academic session for the 2026-27 batch starting on September 8. This information was provided by the Medical Counseling Committee (MCC).

According to the counseling schedule released by the committee, the initial round of AIQ counseling for deemed and central universities will take place from August 4 to August 17.

The final date for admissions will be August 22. Following this, the second round of AIQ counseling is scheduled from August 24 to September 2, with the third round occurring from September 10 to September 18.

For state quota seats, the first round of counseling will be held from August 13 to August 22, and candidates must secure their admissions by August 28. The second round will run from August 31 to September 8, followed by the third round from September 16 to September 26.
