In related news, Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma announced that the state BJP will adopt a neutral stance in the upcoming elections for the Mising Autonomous Council and the Sonowal Kachari Autonomous Council, as these elections will not be conducted under party symbols.
“Given that these elections will not utilize party symbols, the state BJP has decided to remain neutral. This was one of the resolutions made during the Assam BJP unit’s core committee meeting at Najpayee Bhawan,” Sarma stated.
As elections for various autonomous councils draw near, the party is concentrating on enhancing its organizational framework and coordinating preparations throughout different regions of Assam.
