Results of UP Police Sub-Inspector Exam Released
On May 7, 2026, the Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board announced the results of the written examination for the Sub-Inspector recruitment. A total of 12,333 candidates have successfully passed this examination.
The examination took place on March 14 and 15, conducted in four shifts. Along with the results, the board has also released the category-wise cutoff marks, with the cutoff for the male general category exceeding 369 out of 400.

After the exam, candidates raised objections to 20 questions. Following an evaluation by subject experts, the board found 8 questions to be incorrect and awarded points to all candidates accordingly.
