The bride's father informed the police that his daughter's marriage had been arranged six months prior with 20-year-old Pradeep Kumar from Babri village in Shamli district. However, just a day before the wedding, Pradeep's brother passed away, and his family delayed informing the bride's family about the wedding's status. A Second Marriage Arrangement

With no response from the first groom's family, the bride's father decided to arrange her marriage with Akash, a resident of Diggi village under the jurisdiction of the Meerut Medical Police Station. They confirmed the wedding date for March 10, which was set for the arrival of the groom's party.
