Unusual Love Story: Two Young Women Insist on Marrying Each Other in Uttar Pradesh
A Unique Case from Uttar Pradesh
An extraordinary incident has emerged from Uttar Pradesh, where two young women are adamant about marrying each other. The situation escalated to the point where their families convened a village council to address the issue. According to reports, a girl from the Didoli police station area fell in love with another girl from the Gajraula police station area, leading them to decide to marry. However, upon learning about their relationship, their families objected and refused to support the marriage.
On Wednesday, both families attempted to mediate by gathering relatives for a council meeting, hoping to persuade the girls to reconsider their decision.
It has been reported that a 20-year-old girl from Didoli had visited her relatives in a village within the Gajraula police station area a few years ago, where she met another girl. During this visit, they developed a friendship and frequently stayed at each other's homes. They had known each other for two years without raising any suspicions among their families. Recently, however, they announced their intention to marry, shocking their relatives.
On Wednesday morning, the girl from Gajraula visited her friend in Didoli, and after a lengthy conversation, they informed their families about their love and desire to marry. This revelation caused distress among their relatives, who tried to convince them otherwise. Despite their efforts, the girls remained resolute and even began to create a scene.
In response, both families organized a council meeting with relatives to discuss the matter. After considerable effort, the council managed to calm the girls down, and subsequently, the family from Gajraula took their daughter home. Neither family has filed a police complaint regarding the incident, and Inspector Ajay Kumar has stated that he is unaware of the situation.
