A Remarkable Purchase in Madhya Pradesh
In Madhya Pradesh, a man named Haseeb Hindustani made headlines when he arrived at a showroom with a staggering amount of coins totaling ₹57,000 to buy a motorcycle. His unusual method of payment left everyone at the showroom astonished. Initially, the dealer hesitated to accept the coins, but after hearing Haseeb's story, he agreed to sell him his desired Hero Splendor bike.
Haseeb, who brought coins of denominations of one, two, five, and ten rupees, shared that his family of ten had been saving for the past three years to afford this bike. The emotional weight of his story brought tears to the dealer's eyes.
Counting the coins took nearly the entire staff three hours to complete. The dealer revealed that Haseeb had brought 322 coins of ten rupees, 1,458 coins of five rupees, 15,645 coins of two rupees, and 14,600 coins of one rupee.
Haseeb mentioned that he was inspired to save money after listening to a speech by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who encouraged small savings. Since then, his family has been diligently saving. The showroom staff stated that all the coins would be deposited in a bank to help alleviate the shortage of change.
