Unique Story of a Man Paying for a Bike with Coins in Madhya Pradesh
A Remarkable Purchase Experience
In Madhya Pradesh, a man named Haseeb Hindustani made headlines when he arrived at a showroom with a staggering collection of coins amounting to ₹57,000 to buy a motorcycle. His unusual method of payment astonished everyone present at the showroom. Initially, the dealer hesitated to accept the coins, but after hearing Haseeb's story, he agreed to sell him his desired Hero Splendor bike.
Haseeb, who brought coins of one, two, five, and ten rupees, shared that his family of ten had been saving for three years to afford this bike. The emotional weight of his story brought tears to the dealer's eyes.
Counting the vast amount of coins took nearly the entire staff, and they managed to complete the task in about three hours. The dealer revealed that Haseeb had brought 322 ten-rupee coins, 1,458 five-rupee coins, 15,645 two-rupee coins, and 14,600 one-rupee coins.
Haseeb mentioned that he was inspired to save money after listening to a speech by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who encouraged small savings. Since then, his family has been diligently saving. The showroom staff stated that all the coins would be deposited in a bank to alleviate the issue of having too much loose change.
