Unique Love Story in Uttar Pradesh: Two Young Women Insist on Marrying Each Other
A Remarkable Case from Uttar Pradesh
A fascinating incident has emerged from Uttar Pradesh, where two young women have firmly insisted on marrying each other. The situation escalated to the point where their families convened a local council to address the issue. According to reports, a girl from the Didoli police jurisdiction fell in love with another girl from the Gajraula area, leading them to decide to marry. However, upon learning about their relationship, their families opposed it and refused to support their marriage.
On Wednesday, both families gathered relatives for a council meeting in an attempt to persuade the girls. The 20-year-old girl from Didoli had previously visited her relatives in a village within the Gajraula police area, where she met another girl. They developed a friendship and often stayed at each other's homes for days. They had known each other for two years without raising any suspicions among their families. Recently, however, they announced their intention to marry, leaving their families shocked.
On Wednesday morning, the girl from Gajraula visited her friend in Didoli. After a lengthy discussion, they informed their families about their love for each other and their desire to marry. This revelation caused distress among their relatives, who attempted to reason with them. Despite their efforts, the girls remained resolute and began to insist on their marriage. Eventually, they created a scene.
Both families held a council meeting with relatives, where the entire situation was explained. After considerable effort, the council managed to calm the girls down. Subsequently, the family from Gajraula took their daughter home. Neither family has filed a complaint with the police, and Inspector Ajay Kumar has denied any knowledge of the case.
