This remarkable occurrence took place at Cardarelli Hospital in Naples, where the mother welcomed a baby named Futura, weighing 3.8 kg. Just hours later, her daughter delivered a baby boy named Giovanni, who weighed 3.4 kg.

A Special Bond During Pregnancy

The mother, Mara Barone, is a biologist and this marks her second delivery. Her first child, Paola, was born when she was just 15 years old, and she chose to continue with her pregnancy instead of opting for abortion.

In a twist of fate, on the same day Mara became a mother again, her daughter Paola, now 21, also gave birth. Both women shared the same household during their pregnancies, and when the time came for delivery, they welcomed their children on the same day.
