Ministers Arrive Together for Cabinet Meeting

In New Delhi, Union Minister for Communications and Development of North Eastern Region Jyotiraditya Scindia and Union Minister for Ports, Shipping, and Waterways Sarbananda Sonowal arrived at a Cabinet meeting using a single vehicle on Wednesday. This initiative reflects a responsible message in line with Prime Minister Narendra Modi's call for saving petrol and diesel while promoting the responsible use of resources.

Message of Fuel Conservation

Prior to the Cabinet meeting, both ministers emphasized the importance of fuel savings, energy conservation, and environmental protection through carpooling. Their actions aim to inspire the public to incorporate resourceful usage and fuel conservation into their daily routines. Notably, this is not the first instance; earlier, Minister Scindia and Ram Mohan Naidu also carpooled before a Cabinet meeting to convey a similar message of sensitivity.

PM Modi's Call to Action

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has consistently urged citizens to turn energy conservation into a public movement and to save every drop of petrol and diesel. Initiatives like the carpooling by Union Ministers are expected to motivate people towards fuel conservation.
