Upon his arrival at the PWD Rest House, Dhundiyara Bungalow, Union Minister for Parliamentary Affairs and Minority Affairs, Kiren Rijiju, was greeted with enthusiasm by local residents, public officials, and community leaders.
The reception included notable figures such as Dr. Rajiv Bhardwaj, MP, MLAs Neeraj Nayyar and D.S. Thakur, former MLA Vikram Jaryal, Deputy Commissioner Mukesh Repswal, and Superintendent of Police Vijay Kumar Saklani, among others.
During his visit, the Union Minister engaged in discussions with local officials and representatives about development projects and the execution of various government initiatives in the area. He later traveled to Dalhousie and Khajjiar, where he received a warm welcome from former MLA Pawan Nayyar, local residents, and members of the Buddhist community.
The event was attended by several senior officials, including SDM Anil Bhardwaj, Manish Soni, Priyanshu Khati, District Tourism Development Officer Rajiv Mishra, District Programme Officer (Child Development) Kamal Kishore Sharma, District Welfare Officer Raj Bahadur, BDO Anil Gurda, and Executive Engineers Pankaj Rathore, Narendra Chaudhary, and Meet Sharma.

Union Minister Kiren Rijiju is set to lay the foundation stone for the ITI building and Sports Complex at Bhanjaradu on the morning of March 1, 2026. In the afternoon, he will inaugurate the Indoor Stadium (Sports Complex) at Salooni, marking significant progress in the region's development.
