Union Minister's Praise for Sports Development

During the Sansad Khel Mahotsav held in Yadadri Bhuvanagiri, Telangana, Union Minister BL Verma commended the advancement of sports in India. He emphasized Prime Minister Narendra Modi's significant contributions to enhancing athletic performance, referencing notable victories such as the Indian women's cricket team winning the World Cup last year and the national team securing the T20 World Cup recently. 'In alignment with Prime Minister Modi's directives, the MP Khel Mahotsav has been established... The aim is to foster a developed India by 2047... These programs are designed to uplift our athletes' morale for the Commonwealth Games, and I believe our players will secure a record number of medals,' K Laxman remarked.
