Unbelievable Case: Young Man Diagnosed Pregnant in Aligarh

Can a male become pregnant? This question arises after a young man from Aligarh, Uttar Pradesh, was diagnosed with pregnancy. The circumstances surrounding this unusual case remain unclear, but doctors have issued a pregnancy certificate to him. Since receiving this shocking news, the young man has been in distress, crying and seeking relief from the ridicule he faces from those who hear about his condition.

The 22-year-old, named Darshan, works at a cement factory in the Kasganj district. He had been suffering from severe abdominal pain for several days, prompting him to seek medical help. Exhausted from the pain, he visited the Sunrise Hospital located on Ramghat Road in Aligarh. After examining him, the doctors recommended an ultrasound to investigate the cause of his discomfort.

When the ultrasound results came back, the attending physician was astonished to discover that the source of Darshan's pain was a fetus developing in his body. The report indicated that the pregnancy was located in the fallopian tube, and there was also swelling noted in his kidney tube. Upon learning of his pregnancy, Darshan was left in disbelief, unable to comprehend how this could happen.

Following advice from some acquaintances, he approached the Chief Medical Officer (CMO) and the District Magistrate to file a complaint regarding the hospital's apparent negligence. Darshan is extremely upset about this situation, feeling that he has been the subject of a cruel joke. He has lodged a formal complaint against the nursing home with the CMO and District Magistrate. The report suggests that a pregnancy in the fallopian tube is not viable and typically requires termination within two to two and a half months to prevent serious complications.

Some medical professionals speculate that there may have been a mix-up in the reports, possibly due to a copy-paste error from a female patient's file. This serious oversight has left Darshan mentally distressed, and he is in a state of despair. Dr. Alok Gupta, who prepared the report, has admitted to the mistake, acknowledging that it was an error.
