Ukraine Accuses Russia of Targeting Indian Pharma Warehouse Amid Ongoing Conflict
Ukraine's Serious Allegations Against Russia
Kyiv: On Saturday, Ukraine accused Russia of intentionally attacking Indian enterprises after a missile struck a warehouse owned by Kusum Healthcare, an Indian pharmaceutical firm.
In a statement shared on X, the Ukrainian embassy in India remarked, "While professing a 'special friendship' with India, Moscow is deliberately targeting Indian businesses, destroying essential medicines intended for vulnerable populations such as children and the elderly."

The warehouse, managed by Kusum Healthcare, was reportedly a crucial storage site for medical supplies needed for humanitarian efforts. Although Kyiv has not disclosed information regarding casualties or the damage's extent, it condemned the attack as a breach of international law.
Russia has yet to respond to these accusations.
Previously, Britain's ambassador to Ukraine, Martin Harris, stated on X that the attack was executed by Russian drones rather than a missile.
"This morning, Russian drones completely destroyed a major pharmaceuticals warehouse in Kyiv, incinerating stocks of medicines needed by the elderly and children. Russia’s campaign of terror against Ukrainian civilians continues," Harris commented.
In a related development, Russia's Defense Ministry claimed that Ukraine had conducted five assaults on Russian energy infrastructure within the last 24 hours, asserting that these actions violate a US-mediated agreement to cease such attacks.
Last month, both nations reportedly consented to a moratorium on targeting each other's energy facilities. However, tensions remain elevated, with both sides accusing one another of violating the agreement.
India, which has maintained a neutral position throughout the conflict, continues to advocate for peace and an end to hostilities, refraining from taking sides in the ongoing war.
