: A woman from the United Kingdom made a significant gold offering at the revered Chintpurni temple located in Himachal Pradesh’s Una district. This gesture was in gratitude for the realization of two long-held prayers. Seema Devi, a resident of Nottingham, England, visited the Shaktipeeth to express her thankfulness after both of her sons successfully settled abroad, as reported by temple officials.

Seema Devi, who hails from Punjab, presented a gold 'chhatar' weighing approximately 26 grams at the shrine, fulfilling a vow she had made years prior.

Six Years of Faithful Prayers

According to Seema Devi, she had prayed at Chintpurni around six years ago for her sons, Harpreet and Manpreet, to find success overseas. “Thanks to the blessings of Mata Chintpurni, both my sons are now settled in England with their families,” she shared, noting that she currently resides with them in Nottingham.

Having witnessed her prayers answered, she traveled from the UK to Himachal Pradesh to express her gratitude at the temple.

Dedicated Service at the Shrine

In addition to her gold offering, Seema Devi dedicated 11 days to seva at the temple. She actively participated in langar services and was seen performing cleaning duties within the shrine, including sweeping the floors. Temple officials remarked that such acts of service reflect humility and devotion among pilgrims.

“She engaged in seva with utmost dedication before presenting the chhatar,” stated an official associated with the temple trust.

Recognition from the Temple Trust

In appreciation of her devotion, the Chintpurni temple trust honored Seema Devi by presenting her with a traditional chunri of the goddess. She reaffirmed her steadfast faith in Mata Chintpurni, describing her visit as a deeply spiritual experience.

The event has garnered attention from devotees, showcasing how faith continues to draw pilgrims from around the world to this renowned Himachal shrine.
