UGC-NET Results for English, Commerce, and Sociology: What You Need to Know

Results Announced for UGC-NET Re-Examination


New Delhi: On Friday, the National Testing Agency (NTA) announced the results for the re-examination of UGC-NET papers in English, commerce, and sociology.


Last month, the NTA decided to conduct a retest for these three subjects due to numerous complaints regarding errors found in the original papers from the UGC-NET June 2026 examination.


In a post on X, the NTA stated, “UGC NET June 2026 Examination Results Declared for English, Commerce, and Sociology. Candidates can access and download their scorecards via the official website.”


The English examination took place on September 9, running from 9 AM to noon, while the commerce paper was held on the same day from 3 PM to 6 PM.


The sociology paper was conducted the following day, September 10, also from 9 AM to noon.


The UGC-NET June 2026 examination was carried out from June 22 to 30, covering 87 subjects aimed at awarding Junior Research Fellowships (JRF), determining eligibility for assistant professors, and facilitating admissions to PhD programs.
