UGC NET 2025 Exam Format
The examination is conducted in a Computer-Based Test (CBT) format and consists of two papers:
Paper I: General Knowledge and Teaching Aptitude (mandatory for all candidates)
Paper II: Subject selected by the candidate.
Both papers consist of multiple-choice questions (MCQs).
Marking Scheme for UGC NET
Each correct answer awards 2 marks, and there is no negative marking. If any question is deemed invalid, full marks will be granted to all candidates who attempted it.
