Arrest of Third Suspect in Sensitive Information Leak

Udupi police have apprehended a third individual linked to the leak of sensitive information related to the Indian Navy by employees associated with the Malpe Cochin Shipyard. Authorities disclosed this information on Sunday.


The latest suspect, identified as Hirendra Kumar, aged 34, is the son of Bharat Kumar Khadayat from Kailash Nagari in Anand district, Gujarat.


According to police reports, the suspects are believed to have transmitted confidential details regarding naval operations and facilities to their handlers based in Pakistan in exchange for illegal financial gains. Previously, on November 21, police arrested two other individuals, Rohit and Santri, from Uttar Pradesh in connection with this case. All three suspects are currently in judicial custody.
