Security Forces Eliminate Naxals in Jharkhand

On Saturday, security forces in the Latehar district of Jharkhand successfully neutralized two notorious Naxals affiliated with the 'Jharkhand Jan Mukti Parishad'. One of the deceased had a bounty of ₹10 lakh, while the other was worth ₹5 lakh, according to sources.


Reports indicate that another member of the group sustained injuries and has been apprehended, with an INSAS rifle recovered from his possession. The operation led to the deaths of Pappu Lohara, the Naxal with a ₹10 lakh reward, and Prabhat Ganjhu, who had a ₹5 lakh bounty on his head. Both individuals were confirmed to be part of the Jharkhand Jan Mukti Parishad. Authorities have stated that the security operation is ongoing.
