Arrests Made in Imphal East District
In the Imphal East district of Manipur, law enforcement officials apprehended two individuals at various locations, seizing weapons and ammunition in the process. This information was disclosed by the police on Saturday.
According to a police statement, a man named Thoudam Ranjan Singh, aged 41, was taken into custody on Thursday from his residence in Leimakhong Mapal Mamang Leikai, where authorities recovered nine cartridges of 9mm caliber.
Additionally, security forces arrested another individual, 35-year-old Karam Mani Meitei, on Friday at his home in Thongju Part-II, Pichu Lampak Ningombam Leirak, where they found a 9mm pistol along with a magazine.
