Arrests Made Following Encounter

In Bulandshahr district, law enforcement officials have apprehended two suspects linked to the murder of a five-year-old girl following an encounter. A police representative confirmed the arrests.

According to the police, illegal firearms and ammunition were seized from the suspects.

Dr. Tejveer Singh, the Superintendent of Police for the rural area, reported that late Friday evening, authorities received information about a severely injured girl lying in the Rajpura neighborhood under the jurisdiction of the Sikandrabad police station. Upon arrival, the police, along with the girl's family, rushed her to a community health center, where she was pronounced dead by medical staff.

Based on the father’s complaint, a case has been registered at the Sikandrabad police station under relevant sections of the law. The complaint indicated that the girl's family and the accused, Raju and Veeru Kashyap, reside in the same building.

Raju hails from Balrampur district, while Veeru Kashyap is from Lakhimpur Kheri. The father mentioned that the girl was playing on the roof of their building before she was found in a field behind it. He suspects that she was sexually assaulted before being murdered.

The Senior Superintendent of Police formed three teams to capture the suspects based on the complaint. During the investigation, information surfaced that the accused were hiding in an under-construction colony on Kanwara Road.

Acting on this tip-off, police surrounded the area to apprehend the criminals. The suspects opened fire upon realizing they were encircled by the police.

During initial questioning, the suspects admitted their involvement in the crime. The rural Superintendent of Police stated that further legal action is being pursued against both individuals, and inquiries are ongoing to determine the motives behind the murder.
