Muzaffarpur. When trust diminishes in a marriage, it can lead to devastating consequences. This was the case for Ravi Kumar, a resident of the Bada Jagannath Panchayat in the Ahiyapur police station area.

Initially, Ravi's marital life was going smoothly. However, he recently noticed a change in his wife's behavior, which led him to suspect that she might be involved in an extramarital affair. Consequently, he began to keep a close watch on her.

One night, upon returning home, Ravi found his wife engaged in a video call with a man, who he suspected was her lover. When he confronted her about the call, she refused to respond.

Ravi's curiosity intensified as he wanted to know who she was speaking to late at night. In an attempt to take the phone from her, his wife reacted violently, grabbing a rolling pin from the kitchen and attacking him.

Caught off guard by this sudden assault, Ravi suffered a head injury and a broken nose. He then began to shout for help, attracting the attention of neighbors who quickly arrived at the scene. They intervened and separated the couple, bringing the situation under control.

Following the incident, Ravi was admitted to SKMCH for treatment. His condition is currently stable. The Ahiyapur police station chief mentioned that no formal complaint has been filed by the victim yet. If a complaint is received, an investigation will be initiated.

This incident underscores the critical importance of trust and communication in family relationships. When one partner loses faith in the other, it is natural for cracks to appear in the relationship. Such situations often arise from a lack of dialogue and trust, leading to increased tension.
