Trump asserted, “I built this great military,” adding that while he hoped it would not need to be used, sometimes it must be. He humorously urged the audience to ignore his comment about Cuba, yet reiterated, “Cuba’s next,” which elicited laughter from attendees.
This comment was made at the Future Investment Initiative Institute event, reflecting ongoing tensions with Cuba, which has faced increasing pressure from the US government.
Since January, the Trump administration has enforced an oil blockade against Cuba, leading to significant fuel shortages and recent nationwide blackouts.

Trump's renewed focus on Iran followed a military operation in Venezuela, where the US military allegedly abducted President Nicolás Maduro and his wife, Cilia Flores, on charges of drug trafficking.
