Trump's Stark Warning to Iran

Washington DC: On Sunday, President Donald Trump delivered a stern warning to Iran, stating that if a peace agreement is not reached by Tuesday, he would take drastic measures. Trump ominously suggested he would "blow up the entire Iran," emphasizing that Iran has consistently denied any ongoing peace negotiations with the United States. "We are in very deep negotiations with Iran," he remarked to Israeli media, noting that while discussions are progressing, they have yet to reach a conclusion. He expressed optimism about a potential agreement but indicated that the Iranians are delaying the process.

Trump revealed that the peace talks are being facilitated by Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner, asserting that the U.S. was close to a deal, which has been hindered by Iranian actions. He recounted that the Iranians had recently agreed to meet but requested a five-day postponement, which he interpreted as a tactic to prolong negotiations. "I decided to attack the bridge," he stated, referring to his frustrations with the delays.

Furthermore, Trump claimed that the Iranian populace desires a change in their regime, stating, "Iranian citizens want us to attack the regime's infrastructure. They live in fear and worry that we will abandon them in the conflict - but we will not leave," he asserted.

Deadline Set for the Strait of Hormuz Reopening: Earlier, Trump established a new deadline for Iran to reopen the Strait of Hormuz, which has been obstructed by the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) since the onset of the Middle East conflict on February 28. He warned that military action could ensue if an agreement is not reached. In a social media update, Trump announced, "Tuesday, 8:00 P.M. Eastern Time!" marking a critical deadline for Tehran to meet U.S. demands. This announcement followed a more aggressive statement in which he threatened extensive strikes on Iranian infrastructure.

Trump declared, "Tuesday will be Power Plant Day and Bridge Day, all wrapped up in one, in Iran. There will be nothing like it!!! Open the… Strait, you crazy bastards, or you’ll be living in Hell - JUST WATCH! Praise be to Allah," he wrote.

Details on the Rescue of a U.S. Airman: Trump also shared information regarding a rescue operation conducted by U.S. forces to retrieve an airman from Iran after he was ejected from an F-15E fighter jet that was struck by a missile. The president noted that the rescue occurred in broad daylight and initially raised concerns that the crew member might have been captured. However, the injured airman managed to send a brief message over the radio: "God is good." Trump recounted, "At first, we received a strange short message from the navigator over the radio. We thought that maybe the Iranians had caught him and that it was a hoax." Ultimately, the message was confirmed to be genuine. He praised U.S. forces for their bravery, stating that other nations would not have risked so many resources for one soldier, and he commended Israeli forces, referring to them as "little brothers."
