This agreement, established last month, aimed to halt the ongoing conflict that began on February 28 and to finalize a comprehensive deal within 60 days. In an interview with a media outlet, Trump was questioned about Iran's declaration of non-compliance amidst increasing military actions. He responded bluntly, stating, "I couldn't care less," emphasizing that the main goal for Washington is to prevent Iran from acquiring nuclear weapons.

He stated, "The US has violated and suspended all its commitments within the framework of the Islamabad MoU. We have also suspended our commitments; we are not implementing them, and we are busy defending the country," as reported by the Fars news agency.
