Trump's Statement on Iran

In light of rising tensions in the Middle East, President Donald Trump stated on Sunday that the United States is not involved in the recent attack on Iran. He emphasized on social media that if the US faces any form of aggression, the military response would be unprecedented. This declaration comes amid ongoing hostilities between Israel and Iran.

Trump's Warning: 'If Attacked...'

On Truth Social, Trump asserted, "The US had no part in the attack on Iran tonight. Should we be attacked in any manner by Iran, the full force of the US Armed Forces will be unleashed like never before. However, a resolution between Iran and Israel is achievable, potentially ending this violent conflict!"

Rubio Labels Iranian Actions as 'Unilateral'

Earlier, Secretary of State Marco Rubio characterized the Iranian strikes as 'unilateral' and reiterated that the safety of US forces in the area is paramount. He mentioned on social media, "Israel has taken unilateral action against Iran. We are not participating in these strikes, and our primary focus is on safeguarding American personnel in the region. Israel has informed us that this action was essential for its self-defense. The Trump Administration has implemented all necessary measures to protect our forces and is in constant communication with regional allies. Iran must not target US interests or personnel."

Escalation in Israel-Iran Conflict

Recently, Israel initiated 'Operation Rising Lion,' targeting Iranian military and nuclear installations. In retaliation, Iran launched ballistic missiles at Israel, resulting in casualties on both sides. Reports indicate that on Saturday night, Iran fired missiles and drones at a strategic site near Haifa, Israel, leading to four fatalities and numerous injuries, prompting sirens to sound across the nation.

In a statement on social media, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) confirmed that they had conducted a series of airstrikes on significant locations in Tehran associated with Iran's nuclear program. The IDF reported that these strikes targeted the Iranian Ministry of Defense, the headquarters of the SPND nuclear project, and other facilities linked to Iran's nuclear ambitions.
