During the birthday party, Jitu Saini used a .32 caliber pistol to shoot three members of a BJP leader's family. The encounter with police occurred on Dhakar Road, where both an SOG officer and another policeman sustained injuries and were subsequently referred to a higher medical facility. Authorities recovered two pistols, a country-made firearm, live cartridges, and spent shells from Saini.

The incident took place on April 25, when Jitu Saini was celebrating his birthday at a gym. A dispute arose after some individuals applied cake to his face, leading to the shooting of Akash, Manish, and Amandeep. After the murders, the suspects fled the scene, prompting the families of the victims to call for bulldozer action against them. Following this, police arrested a suspect named Mayank after an encounter, while two others were also apprehended and sent to jail.


Attempted Escape by Suspects

On the night of April 28-29, police and the SWAT team arrested two suspects, Rinku Saini and Bharat Saini, near the Mundakhera canal. Senior Superintendent of Police Dinesh Kumar Singh stated that the police took the suspects to the scene to recover digital video evidence related to the crime. During this process, the suspects allegedly attempted to escape and opened fire on the police with hidden weapons. In self-defense, the police shot them in the legs to subdue them.
