Shivpal Yadav, a prominent leader of the Samajwadi Party, paid homage to former Prime Minister Chaudhary Charan Singh in Lucknow on his birth anniversary. He emphasized that Singh was the voice of marginalized communities, highlighting the significant decisions made by the late Prime Minister for their welfare. During the tribute, Yadav adorned Singh's portrait with flowers and recalled his contributions to farmers and laborers, stating that Chaudhary Charan Singh represented the interests of the poor and agrarian sectors.

Earlier, Prime Minister Modi also paid tribute to the former Prime Minister. He dedicated his life to the welfare of marginalized communities and the advancement of agriculture and farmers' prosperity. A grateful nation will never forget his contributions to nation-building."
Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami also remembered the former Prime Minister on this day, noting that his life was dedicated to empowering farmers.
