Martyr Pilot Siddharth Yadav: The 28-year-old pilot lost his life in a Jaguar fighter jet crash on April 2 in Jamnagar, Gujarat. Hailing from Bhalkhi Majra village in Rewari, Haryana, Siddharth's body was brought back to his village on Friday, where he received a final farewell with military honors. The entire village mourned the loss of their son, deeply affected by his passing.
During the farewell, Siddharth's fiancée was seen grieving near his coffin, lamenting, 'Baby, you didn’t come to pick me up… you promised you would.' Tears flowed from the eyes of Siddharth's family and friends, and even the Air Force personnel present were visibly moved by the emotional scene.

Prior to his tragic accident, Siddharth had heroically saved a colleague's life.

Siddharth's Engagement on March 23
It is noteworthy that Siddharth got engaged to Sonia on March 23 of this year, with plans for their wedding set for November 2, 2025. At the funeral, his fiancée was present, visibly distraught, repeatedly asking to see his face one last time. She expressed her pride in Siddharth, stating that preparations for their wedding were underway, but this tragic incident shattered their dreams.
