Jewar's Vision for Medical Excellence
Following the establishment of the Noida International Airport, efforts are intensifying to develop Jewar as a leading hub for Medical Tourism, Medical Education, and Healthcare Research. Local legislator Dhirendra Singh is spearheading initiatives to create a state-of-the-art medical institution in Jewar, aiming to surpass even the prestigious AIIMS in New Delhi in terms of facilities, medical research, and advanced technology.
Government Support for Regional Medical Hubs
In the 2026-27 Union Budget, the Indian government announced plans to set up five Regional Medical Hubs across the country with the collaboration of states and private sectors. Dhirendra Singh has initiated efforts to establish one of these hubs near the Noida International Airport in the YEIDA area.
Formal Proposal to the State Government
On August 4, 2026, Singh wrote to Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, requesting the Uttar Pradesh government to formally propose this initiative to the central government. He also urged the Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority to identify suitable land and prepare a detailed proposal for the project.
Comprehensive Healthcare Facilities Planned
The proposed Regional Medical Hub is envisioned as more than just a hospital. It will include super-specialty medical services, a medical college, medical education and research facilities, an AYUSH Centre, a Medical Value Tourism Facilitation Centre, advanced diagnostics, post-treatment care, and rehabilitation services, all within a single complex.
Aiming for Global Recognition
Dhirendra Singh emphasized, "The Noida International Airport has connected Jewar to the world. Our goal is to establish a world-class medical institution in Jewar, providing the best treatment for our citizens and attracting international patients. We aim to create a facility that exceeds even AIIMS in terms of services, technology, and research."
Impact on Western Uttar Pradesh's Healthcare
Singh noted that under Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath's leadership, Jewar has become a new gateway for development in Uttar Pradesh. If one of the proposed five Regional Medical Hubs is established in Jewar, it will bring about a historic transformation in the healthcare sector of Western Uttar Pradesh. He stated, "Considering the proximity to the Noida International Airport, excellent connectivity via the Yamuna Expressway, and the developing international industrial and urban environment in the YEIDA area, Jewar is one of the most suitable locations for this project."

The proposed medical hub will benefit not only Gautam Buddha Nagar but also residents of Bulandshahr, Aligarh, Ghaziabad, Mathura, Agra, and the entire Western Uttar Pradesh region by providing world-class healthcare services. Additionally, it will create new opportunities in medical education, healthcare research, medical tourism, and employment. Singh has intensified efforts with the Chief Minister, government officials, and relevant administrative bodies for this ambitious project. Following the Noida International Airport, the next goal is to establish Jewar as a "Global Healthcare & Medical Education Destination."

Dhirendra Singh shared, "After the Noida International Airport, our next major goal is to make Jewar a center for world-class medical and medical education. We are striving to establish a medical institution that surpasses AIIMS in facilities, technology, and research. Requests have been made to Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath for Jewar to be included among the five Regional Medical Hubs, and efforts are being accelerated at the government level." A meeting chaired by the Chief Secretary is scheduled for August 7, 2026, to discuss this topic further.
