A training workshop focused on acquiring licenses from the Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) took place today in Bharmaur, led by ADM Bharmour Vikas Sharma as part of the Van Dhan Vikas Yojana.


Representatives from the Health & Family Welfare Department in Chamba, including Deepak Anand, Assistant Food Safety Commissioner, and Tavinder Chanoria, District Development Officer, offered comprehensive insights to self-help groups (SHGs) from Bharmaur and Holi. They outlined the essential need for FSSAI licenses for marketing food products, walked through the application process, and highlighted the significance of labeling and packaging to maintain product standards.


Additionally, Van Dhan Surveyor Sanjay Kumar (Bharmaur) and Surveyor Manorama Devi (Holi) were in attendance during the session.
