Groom Loses Life in Wedding Dance Dispute

In a tragic event in Ghazipur, a groom was reportedly killed following a confrontation that erupted while dancing to a DJ at his wedding. Authorities have confirmed that a murder case has been filed against eight individuals, with one suspect already in custody. The victim has been identified as Rakesh Kumar, a local resident.

According to police reports, a wedding procession from Ghazipur arrived in Jagdishpur village. After completing some traditional rituals, a conflict arose between the groom's party and the bride's family during the DJ performance.

When Rakesh's father noticed the altercation and attempted to step in, members of the bride's family reacted violently, attacking the elder with sticks. In an effort to defend his father, Rakesh was severely injured during the ensuing chaos.

He was immediately taken to a nearby medical facility, but due to the severity of his injuries, he was transferred to a hospital in Varanasi, where he ultimately passed away while receiving treatment.

Following a complaint lodged by Rakesh's father, police have initiated legal action against eight individuals, with one arrest made. Investigations are ongoing to apprehend the remaining suspects.
