Tragic Truck Accident Claims Lives of Four Teenagers in Sitapur
Fatal Incident in Sitapur District
Late Sunday night, a tragic accident occurred in the Rausa police station area of Sitapur district, where a speeding truck overturned, resulting in the deaths of four teenagers standing by the roadside. Authorities provided this information on Monday.
The deceased have been identified as Munna (16), Sufiyan (15), Altaf (15), and Alfaz (14), all hailing from Bahraich district. Hanumant Lal Tiwari, the Rausa police station chief, reported that a truck loaded with rice husk was en route from Sitapur to Bahraich when it overturned while turning on a bridge, crushing the four individuals beneath it.
Witnesses at the scene stated that the teenagers were gathered near their motorcycle, engaged in conversation after attending a wedding ceremony in Marubehad when the truck flipped over and fell on them.
Local residents rushed the four boys to a community health center, where they were pronounced dead. The police have confirmed that the bodies have been sent for post-mortem examination.
