A devastating train accident occurred on Sunday evening between the Hetampur and Gher railway stations in Madhya Pradesh's Morena district. Initial reports suggest that a rumor about a fire in the Udaipur Intercity Express spread among passengers, causing widespread panic and chaos inside the train. As the train came to a stop, many frightened passengers opened the coach doors and jumped onto the railway tracks, running for safety. At that moment, the fast-moving Patalkot Express approached from the opposite direction, leaving no time for those on the tracks to react. Tragically, several individuals were struck by the oncoming train.

The heartbreaking incident resulted in the deaths of six individuals, including three women and a young child. Additionally, numerous other passengers sustained serious injuries.
