On Wednesday, a tragic accident occurred in the Bhojpur area of Moradabad district, resulting in the immediate deaths of two sisters after being struck by a train. According to police reports, the incident took place around 2:15 PM near the Bijna Chak Begumpur railway underpass.
The victims, Kashish (18) and Taniska (15), were on their way to gather 'saag' (leafy vegetables) from nearby fields. While crossing the railway tracks, they were hit by the Moradabad-Ramnagar passenger train coming from the Moradabad direction. Authorities stated that upon receiving the news, police arrived at the scene and sent the bodies for post-mortem examination.
