On August 1, a tragic incident unfolded in the Kulgam district of Jammu and Kashmir, where two laborers from Chhattisgarh lost their lives due to a terrorist attack at a brick kiln. Officials reported the details on Saturday, indicating that the assailants targeted workers late Friday evening in the Kelam area of South Kashmir.

Both laborers sustained injuries during the attack. One of them, Deepak Ratre, succumbed to his injuries before reaching the hospital. The other injured worker, Bopinder, was initially taken to GMC Anantnag and later referred to SKIMS hospital in Soura.
