Tragic SUV Incident in Ranchi Claims Lives of Woman and Two Children

On Sunday evening in Ranchi, a high-speed sports utility vehicle (SUV) collided with multiple vehicles, resulting in the tragic deaths of a woman and two children, according to police reports.

The incident occurred near the state BJP office on Harmu Road, within the jurisdiction of the Argoda police station. Additionally, two motorcyclists sustained injuries during the event.

Rajeshwar Nath Alok, the Additional District Magistrate (ADM) for law and order, stated that the speeding 'Fortuner' first struck a small car, then hit a motorcycle, and subsequently ran over three pedestrians before finally colliding with another motorcycle, which brought it to a halt.

P.K. Mishra, the Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) for Hatia, confirmed that the injured individuals are receiving medical treatment at a local hospital. He noted, 'All three deceased were pedestrians.' Furthermore, he mentioned that the driver of the vehicle has been apprehended.
