Shooting Incident at Raigarh Railway Station
In a shocking incident on Wednesday morning, a head constable of the Railway Protection Force (RPF) was allegedly shot dead by a colleague in Raigarh district, Chhattisgarh. Officials reported that the incident occurred around 4 AM at the RPF post located within the Raigarh railway station.
According to Station Officer Kuldeep Kumar, preliminary reports indicate that head constable K.S. Lader fired four shots at head constable P.K. Mishra (45) following a dispute over an unspecified issue, resulting in Mishra's immediate death at the scene.
The motive behind the shooting remains unclear at this time. Following the incident, the Government Railway Police (GRP) apprehended the suspect and seized his firearm. A case has been registered, and the body has been sent to the district hospital for an autopsy. Authorities confirmed that the investigation is ongoing.
