A tragic incident occurred in Shivpuri village, where a 23-year-old wedding guest lost his life due to celebratory gunfire. According to police reports, the shooting took place around 9 PM as the wedding procession arrived near a banquet hall.

During the festivities, a bullet struck Rizwan (23) in the forehead, causing chaos among the attendees. Authorities stated that the injured guest was rushed to a hospital in Bareilly, where he succumbed to his injuries late Sunday night.

Vinod Kumar, the head of the Sirauli police station, confirmed that the incident was related to celebratory gunfire. Efforts are underway to identify and locate the suspects involved, and CCTV footage from the area is being reviewed. Despite this unfortunate event, the wedding rituals continued in a somber atmosphere. It is important to note that celebratory gunfire is prohibited in Uttar Pradesh.
