A tragic accident occurred in Chembur, Mumbai, when a tree fell on a school bus, resulting in the death of one student and injuries to four others. Rescue operations are currently underway, with reports indicating that one student remains trapped inside the damaged vehicle. The incident took place around 2:50 PM near Universal School on Road Number 11, as students were returning home.
According to police reports, the fallen tree struck the school bus, injuring five students who were promptly transported to a nearby hospital. Unfortunately, one of the students succumbed to their injuries, while the other four are receiving medical treatment. Emergency rescue teams are actively working to free the trapped child by cutting through the fallen tree.
