Tragic Road Mishap in Rajasthan Claims 11 Lives, Including Women and Children
Devastating Collision in Dausa
Dausa: A tragic accident occurred near Bapi village in Rajasthan's Dausa on Wednesday, resulting in the deaths of 11 individuals, including women and children, and leaving several others injured.
Reports indicate that among the deceased are three women and seven children.
Initial investigations suggest that a pickup truck collided with a container truck, leading to the immediate fatalities of ten people.
Emergency services were alerted, and police quickly arrived at the scene to transport the injured to a local hospital, where another woman succumbed to her injuries, increasing the death toll to 11.
The bodies of the deceased have been sent for autopsy.
All victims hailed from Uttar Pradesh and were returning from visits to the Khatu Shyam and Salasar Balaji Temples when the accident occurred in the Sainthal police jurisdiction.
Witnesses rushed to assist and contacted emergency services upon hearing the crash.
Upon arrival, police ensured that all injured individuals were taken to the trauma unit of the district hospital. Due to the severity of some injuries, additional medical personnel were summoned.
District Collector Devendra Kumar and Superintendent of Police Sagar Rana visited the site and the hospital to gather information about the incident.
Preliminary reports confirm that all deceased were residents of Etah district in Uttar Pradesh.
An investigation is currently underway, with further updates expected.
Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma expressed his sorrow over the incident, stating, "The news of the tragic loss of life in a horrific road accident in Dausa is deeply saddening. The district administration has been instructed to ensure immediate and adequate medical care for the injured."
"May God grant eternal peace to the departed souls and facilitate a swift recovery for the injured," he added.
